What is Flame-Roasting?
Flame roasting is the process of exposing grain to an open flame. We carefully regulate the time and temperature to increase digestibility. It does this by breaking down the grain's cell structure to make the nutrients in grain more easily digested. This enhances energy levels. It also effectively destroys any mold spores in the grain and can reduce toxin levels that are harmful to livestock, swine, poultry, and wildlife.
